HOTEL INFORMATION

There is not a host hotel for this event.
All social events will take place at the show site

GRCA/COGRC  does not guarantee the listed rates or terms.  The Show Committee does  not have a contract with any hotel. All arrangements are between you and the hotel.  However, the hotels listed on this site are under the show committee jurisdiction for damage.  Complaints by any hotel will be investigated and a bench hearing will be called.
Please be considerate and respectful of hotel property.

Each hotel will have it's own cancellation/penalty policy.  However, we do ask that if you decide not to come, PLEASE cancel your hotel reservations in time for someone else to be able to use the room.
Common courtesy should be the name of the game.
Thank you!

Individual hotels do not have any advantage over others, other than individual preference.  Prices range from $60.00 to $120. Most of the hotels are very moderate in price and amenities. Please check the list below for hotels that require pet deposits/fees.  We were unable to get these waved.  A new hotel is expected to be completed prior to our event.  We will announce this as soon as we have further information on this hotel.

All motels are within 6 miles from the show site – 10 miles from the field site.  They are either south on Van Buren (Hwy 81) or west on Garriott (Hwy 412). Call the local phone numbers for the motels that have blocked rooms and given a discount.  Mention GRCA National Specialty.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION -- PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

  • You will be required to have crates placed on plastic at all hotels.
  • All dogs must be crated when unattended.
  • Absolutely no grooming in hotel rooms.
  • Dogs may stay at the showsite in the grooming area overnight.
  • We are planning on locking the building at 12:00 and opening up at 6:00 am (tentative).
  • If dogs are left overnight, you must have an emergency phone number very visible.
  • The show committee will be keeping in close contact with all hotels.  Exhibitors will be responsible for any damage.  Show committee will visit all hotels during this event and take any appropriate action necessary.
  • Hotels will not accept reservations prior to October 15.  Different hotels have different dates they will begin accepting reservations.  The exceptions are posted below.
  • You may only book 2 rooms under one household.
  • Please do not "hoard" hotel rooms by getting reservations at various hotels. This only enhances the usual National Hotel room frenzy.  There are adequate rooms available and all are approximately the same distance from the show and field grounds.

reservations may be made after OCTOBER 15, 2008
(
Some hotels have a later date restriction -- see below for some exceptions)

 Enid residents tell us…

“People should be able to get anywhere in Enid in about 20 minutes.

Any longer than that and they are either sight-seeing, lost, or held up by the train!”
